Overview
These terms govern your use of the Nordkran Industrietechnik website and the purchase of equipment and services from us. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Product listings
We work to keep listings accurate, including photographs, specifications and the manufacturer’s own spec grid. Specifications are supplied by the manufacturer and can change without notice; where a figure matters to your installation — capacity, lifting height, overall footprint, concrete or power requirement — confirm it with us or with the manufacturer’s manual before ordering.
General descriptive text on a listing is information about that model, not a warranty about the individual unit shipped.
Pricing & payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and are subject to change until an order is confirmed. Freight surcharges on heavy items are shown on the product page and are additional to the product price; Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are quoted individually. Applicable sales tax is the buyer’s responsibility unless stated otherwise.
Monthly payment figures shown anywhere on this site are illustrations only; actual terms are set by the finance provider on approval.
Orders & cancellation
Orders are confirmed once payment clears and, for items shipped direct from a manufacturer, once availability and lead time are confirmed. Orders cancelled after an item has been dispatched or crated may be subject to return freight and the manufacturer’s restocking charge.
Shipping & delivery
Heavy items ship by freight. Standard freight delivery is kerbside; liftgate or dock delivery must be arranged at the time of order and is charged additionally. Delivery timing is an estimate and may vary with weather, carrier schedules and manufacturer lead times.
Someone over 18 must be present to receive the shipment. Shortages and transit damage must be noted on the delivery receipt before signing; a clean signature may prevent a freight claim from being paid.
Installation, inspection & safe use
We supply equipment; we do not install it. Vehicle lifts must be installed, anchored, commissioned and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable standards, by a competent installer, on a slab that meets the manufacturer’s stated concrete specification. Where your jurisdiction, insurer or employer requires inspection or certification, arranging it is the buyer’s responsibility.
Operating a lift is inherently hazardous. The buyer is responsible for operator training, for the periodic inspection and maintenance the manufacturer specifies, and for compliance with workplace safety rules applicable to them.
Schutzklasse
New equipment carries the manufacturer’s own warranty, which varies by brand and is stated on the product page. Warranty claims are handled under the manufacturer’s terms. Consumable and wear items are generally excluded. Warranty cover may be voided by incorrect installation, overloading, unauthorised modification or missed maintenance.
Finanzierung
Financing is offered through third-party providers, is subject to credit approval, and is governed by the provider’s own agreement. Nordkran Industrietechnik is not the lender and does not make credit decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nordkran Industrietechnik is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or from the purchase, installation, maintenance or use of equipment bought from us. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
